With over 30 years of leadership at Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), Azlan Ahmad has been a witness to, and a driver of, the utility giant's evolution from a traditional power provider to a regional energy leader.
As Chief Digital and Information Officer, Azlan architected the digital backbone of Malaysia's electricity supply. His forward-thinking milestones include orchestrating the deep AI Data Value Unlocking Program, implementing the ROI driven Value Management Framework, introducing the human-first AI Power Index, and elevating national cybersecurity.
Beyond TNB, he serves on the ASEAN Innovation Business Platform Advisory Board, contributing to regional digital transformation. Today, Azlan is steering TNB toward its Net Zero 2050 goals, embedding AI into the energy transition to build a resilient, data-driven "Utility of the Future."
