As Chief Technology Officer at Tokopedia, he leads organizations spanning AI, data, fintech, and large-scale digital platforms serving millions of users. Over the past two decades, he has held leadership roles at Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, Google, and ByteDance, building products, teams, and platforms at global scale.
Beyond his executive career, Herman actively invests in and advises early-stage founders. He partners closely with companies on product-market fit, AI strategy, technology scaling, organizational design, profitability, and fundraising from pre-seed through Series A.
He also serves on boards and advisory councils spanning startups, universities, and AI research initiatives, helping bridge industry, innovation, and talent development across the region.
