Kong Siong Lin is the Chief Data Officer of AirAsia MOVE,
where he leads the organisation’s enterprise data strategy, he drives data-led transformation across the business, spanning data architecture, analytics, AI applications, and personalisation to enhance customer experience, support smarter decision-making, and accelerate growth. With over 19 years of experience in data and analytics, Siong Lin began his career in the banking industry, where he spent 11 years building strong expertise in these disciplines before joining AirAsia. Throughout his career, he has built and led high-performing teams across data analytics, data science, and data engineering. At AirAsia MOVE, he has played a key role in shaping the company’s data roadmap and advancing its overall data maturity. He has also worked on AI use cases to strengthen personalisation, customer insights, and data-driven decision-making. Siong Lin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Universiti Putra Malaysia and specialises in big data analytics, predictive modelling, machine learning, and AI-driven solutions.
