Lee Sarkin

Lee Sarkin is Vice President and Head of AI, Asia, at Sun Life, with over 20 years’ experience in insurance, spanning actuarial science and leading AI and data innovation. Previously, he built and led Munich Re’s regional AI team across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa. He pioneered AI-augmented underwriting in APAC and Africa, further automating underwriting of insurers using machine learning deployments while managing the risk implications. Lee combines strategic and technical leadership to drive business impact through data and AI, enabling the industry’s purpose of strengthening financial resilience in society.
